Mitsubishi Zero, 1/72 scale model, fully assembled, painted and decalled. The Mitsubishi Zero is the most famous Japanese aircraft of World War Two. They were used from the late 1930's until the very end of the war as a land based and aircraft carrier based naval fighter plane. The plane was very fast and maneuverable, but suffered from a lack of armor and self-sealing fuel tanks. Most of the major Japanese Naval aces flew the Zero. The Zero was continuously improved throughout it's service life. They fought everywhere the Japanese Naval Air arm fought.
