2.8cm Schwere Panzerbüchse 41 Anti-tank Gun was used by the Germans in World War Two. Well over 2,500 of them were produced and they were used on ground mounts like this kit, or could be mounted on armored halftracks. They entered service in 1940 and were used until the end of the war, however, a shortage of tungsten, used for the ammunition, meant they were not more widely adopted.
