NOTE - 1/72 SCALE Marder, Infantry Fighting Vehicle was ordered in 1960 but none entered the field until 1971. Despite this long development, the Germans put over 2,000 into service. Many are being retired now and Greece, Jordan, Indonesia, and Chile are putting them into service. The main gun is a 20mm automatic cannon. There is also the ability to mount the Milan anti-tank missile system. The crew is commander, driver, gunner and six dismounts. Nearly 400 remain in German service, and they have seen combat operations in Afghanistan.
